SUBCHAPTER A. ADMINISTRATION
The Texas Historical Commission (hereinafter referred to as the "commission") adopts amendments to §11.15, relating to Advisory Committees and Boards. The amended rule is adopted without changes to the text as published in the January 3, 2025, issue of the Texas Register (50 TexReg 9) and will not be republished.
Section 11.15 (b), (c), and (d) are amended to provide a December 31, 2031, deadline for abolishment or reauthorization of each of the Boards. (b), (c), and (d) apply respectively to the Antiquities Advisory Board, the State Board of Review, and the Texas Preservation Trust Fund Advisory Board.
The agency did not receive any public comments on this amended rule.
The amended rule is adopted under Texas Government Code §442.005, which gives the commission authority to promulgate rules and appoint advisory committees; and §2110.008, which allows a state agency to provide by rule for the expiration date of an advisory committee.
No other statures, articles, or codes are affected by the amendments.
The agency certifies that legal counsel has reviewed the adoption and found it to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
